This was a little flyer I done did a couple of weeks back for TightRope. Whipped up a fun design for a fun occasion: drinking!

My mate said I should post more often on here so here’s a little something I put together - backstage shenanigans of my last poster.
I already had the idea and general composition pretty solid in my head (most of the time I usually do a bit of brainstorming/sketching), so getting it down wasn’t too hard.
The first image is my initial sketch, which was pretty much thumbnail size and super rough. Since I have my trusty wacom, I moved onto Photoshop and resketched it with a little more detail. Changed a few things here and there as well. Also played with some colours cos I felt like it.
Then it was pretty much the final outlining and colour. I used an extra layer to create the outline for the little detaily bits and adjustment layers for colouring to help make life easier. Other than that it’s nothing too serious. Woooo

Woo.. proud and lucky to say I’m now the design cat over at Tight Rope!
These posters were mock ups I did to test out what I would be in for and to flaunt my skillz to the client. It took a bit longer than expected but got me the job!
I also got asked to design their logo, which I’m pretty chuffed with (the yellow one)
Keep in tuned for the first poster of the opening night so you know when you can boogie with me on tha d-floor !
